A boneless WA leg ham, garnished with cloves and served with a special guava glaze for a sweet, smoky addition to your holiday table.

COOKING INSTRUCTIONS

1. Preheat the Oven:

  • Preheat your oven to 160°C (325°F).

2. Bake the Ham:

  • Place the ham on a roasting rack in a roasting pan.
  • Pour 1 cup of water into the bottom of the pan to keep the ham moist.
  • Cover the ham loosely with aluminum foil and bake for 30 minutes to warm through.

3. Glaze the Ham:

  • Remove the foil and increase the oven temperature to 200°C (400°F).
  • Brush the ham generously with the glaze.
  • Return the ham to the oven and bake uncovered for 20–30 minutes, basting with glaze every 10 minutes, until the ham is golden and caramelised.

4. Check and Rest:

  • Ensure the ham is heated through to an internal temperature of 60°C (140°F) if pre-cooked.
  • Remove the ham from the oven and let it rest for 10–15 minutes before carving.

5. Carve and Serve:

  • Slice the ham thinly across the grain.
  • Drizzle with any remaining glaze or serve with extra glaze on the side.
